Jameson 18 year old

This Jameson 18 Year Old liquid and packaging update raises the ABV from 40% to 46% and does away with chill-filtration. The new recyclable lightweight packaging is nearly half as heavy as the old model and was designed with sustainability in mind.

Expect to see more of your favorite whiskeys sporting a trimmer look as manufacturers make a fresh attempt to lessen the environmental impact of whiskey shipment by reducing packing weight and using recyclable materials.
The oldest Irish blended whiskey with an age statement now sold in the United States is Jameson 18 year old. Its 40% ABV predecessor received 92 points.
Jameson master distiller Kevin O'Gorman raised the ABV to intensify the whiskey's distinctive characteristics and offer more depth and balance. The whiskey produced by the Midleton Distillery is a triple-distilled combination of two varieties of single-pot still whiskey and a single grain whiskey, which are then blended and wedded for at least six months in a first-fill bourbon cask.
Bottle owners can receive a virtual guided tasting with O'Gorman by scanning a QR code on the new box.
