New Stellum releases, the tenth installment of Jack Daniel's Distillery Series, and More

Regarding this week's new releases, we have a handful of American whiskeys as well as a debut scotch. The new single malt scotch from Lochlea Distillery, Lochlea Our Barley, is now available in the United States, albeit in small amounts.
John Campbell, a former Laphroaig distillery manager who left Laphroaig last November after a 25-year career there, is the distillery's manager at Lochlea, a Lowlands distillery that has only been producing since 2018.

In 2018, the Ayrshire-based Lochlea Distillery started producing Scottish Lowlands whisky using a mashbill of barley from this agricultural estate. The distillery's flagship product, Lochlea Our Barley, is aged in a mixture of bourbon, sherry, and STR barrels. The limited-edition Lochlea Harvest Edition attempts to convey the mood of the end of summer and the harvest season.

John Campbell, a former Laphroaig Distillery manager who unexpectedly left the renowned Islay distillery in November to accept this new position, is the manager of Lochlea Distillery. These whiskies from Lochlea are the brand's first to be released in the country. With 3,360 bottles for Our Barley and 900 bottles for Harvest Edition, both releases are modest.
