Miel de Tierra is not a typical mezcal. Neither by production nor by taste. It is best left to the senses to provide a luscious judgement of this ancient spirit. The Espadin Agave is native of the humid southern regions of Mexico. This type of agave cannot grow in the arid, northernmost regions of the country. This style of mezcal can only be found in Oaxaca, a land of deep pre-hispanic ancestry, and ancient Mezcal making tradition.
