The nose opens on aromas of ripe fruit such as Burlat cherry. Airing brings black fruit notes to the fore, especially blackberry, Burlat cherry and bilberry, along with a touch of mild spice. A rich and smooth taste which expresses all the fruit on the nose leads into a full mid-palate with hints of cinnamon and a round, powerful finish on substantial and very well-rounded tannins.
