Established in 1857 by Lázaro Gallardo, Gran Centenario® Tequila remains a family-owned business and is still crafted in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico at Ex Hacienda Los Camichines. The First Maestro Tequilero Lázaro Gallardo is claimed to be the first tequila master distiller (maestro tequilero) in history, as he created the Selección Suave process. By this process, he would only pick the richest, smoothest tequila and blend them together, creating a product with superior quality. This process is still in place while producing our tequila.

Color: clear, shiny and transparent liquid with hints of silver.

Aroma: Cooked agave and caramel are predominant, with hints of vanilla, oak, apple and frutal notes.

Flavor: Sweet and round in the mouth, shows long and intense in retro-olfaction.
